Fall 2020 Applications Open Now
ODK is a national leadership honor society that recognizes and encourages superior leadership and exemplary character, by encouraging collaboration among its members across the five phases celebrated by ODK: scholarship, athletics, service, communications, and the arts. At Georgia Tech, our Circle is focused on providing a forum for campus leaders to effect positive change. We promote internal discussions about pressing campus issues and brainstorm effective methods to resolve those issues via external initiatives.
Membership in the Alpha Eta Circle of Omicron Delta Kappa is considered one of the highest honors attainable for a Georgia Tech student. Some previous circle members include Bobby Dodd and Dean Griffin. To be eligible for student membership, you must be a graduate student or an undergraduate junior or senior by credit hours (meaning 60 or more completed hours), hold a GPA of 3.50 or above, and Fall 2020 cannot be your first nor last semester at Georgia Tech.
ODK members meet to discuss campus issues, learn about events and policies affecting campus, and develop leadership among its members. Additionally, the Circle hosts many events and committee initiatives throughout the school year, including Talks at Tech, Ramble In, the GT Playground, and others. Past ODK projects include the establishment of the first Student Center at Georgia Tech and the establishment of the Mental Health Think Tank.
